My World Cup Quarter-Final Win Treble!

Here's my treble for the World Cup Quarter-Finals which kick-off tomorrow with France and Germany up first followed by hosts Brazil taking on Colombia who have been in cracking form hence we won't be having a win bet on this tie!

My Quarter-Final Treble:

Germany win
Argentina win
Holland win

The treble comes in at just over 13/2

My Reasoning?

Germany v France

France's route to the quarter-finals was more straight forward than that of the German's who topped the Group of Death at the expense of the USA, Portugal and Ghana respectively and while both runners-up in their respective groups went to extra-time before bowing out, the Swiss to Argentina and the US to Belgium.

I think the German's who weren't too convincing against Algeria have being able to go through the gears when needed and with Thomas Muller in attack and probably winning the race for the player of the tournament so far, they should have enough to send the French packing?

Argentina v Belgium

Even with the Argentine's not firing on all cylinders thus far their big game players should have too much in their closet for Belgium's young upstarts who have being doing just about enough without making too many waves.

And given some lacklustre performance's in midfield by both Fellaini and Witzel Argentina's attacking trio of Di Maria, Messi and Lavezzi behind Higuain will more than likely give the Belgian's the run around?

Holland v Costa Rica

Costa Rica have been an absolute revelation in these Final's and in goalkeeper Keylor Navas they have one of the best in the Tournament!

However given the Costa Rican's tactic of playing a high defensive line and the Dutch having one of the fastest players in the World in Arjen Robben their bound to be caught out and even if they do change to a sitting back four the Dutch should be able to pick them off at will and take a step closer to avenging their 2010 World Cup Final defeat to Spain in South Africa.
